Chairman David Stevens Commissioner, District 2,
David Stevens was first elected county commissioner in 2004. He has worked for the Darien Telephone Company since 1990 and currently serves as Director of Operations. His wife, Jennifer, is a pharmacist at Fred's Pharmacy in Darien. They have three children: Amelia, Matt and Haliee. The Stevens family are active members of the Darien First Baptist Church, where David serves as a Deacon. David is also Chairman of the McIntosh County Citizens Review Board. Vice-Chairman Bill Watson Commissioner, District 4
William H. Watson attended Georgia Military College and graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Real Estate/ Insurance. He spent most of his career working as a sales and marketing manager with Shaw Industries, based in Dalton, GA. After moving to coastal Georgia, Bill went to work for Brunswick Floors, where he has been a sales and estimator for the past 14 years. Bill is the past Charter President of Business Network International (BNI) in the original chapter in Brunswick. He also is a past president of McIntosh Rotary. He and his wife Lou are active members of Morgan’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Pine Harbor. He has three daughters, three sons-in-law and eight grandchildren. Commissioner Roger Lotson, District 3
Roger B. Lotson Sr., Ph.D. Commissioner, District 3Roger B. Lotson, Sr. is a life-long resident of McIntosh County, GA. After serving in the military for twenty-two years, he retired as a Naval Officer and returned home. He has worked for the Georgia National Guard Youth Challenge Academy Program since 1999, and currently serves as the Fort Stewart Campus Director. A strong advocate for education, Roger earned several degrees to include Masters’ in Education and Public Administration and a Ph.D. in Management. Rev. Dr. Lotson is the Pastor of Carneghan Emanuel Baptist Church, an Adjunct Professor for Brewton Parker College, and the author of four books. Roger is married to Charlene Lotson, a teacher of excellence in the Glynn County School System. They have two children, Roger Jr., an accountant in Columbus, GA and Amanda, who is with the Lord. Commissioner Kelly McClellan, At Large
Kelly McClellan is one of three newly elected County Commissioners and serves in the At Large seat. Commissioner McClellan is an Instructional Coach at Todd-Grant Elementary School with 16 years experience in the educational field. She has a Bachelor's, Masters, and Specialist Degree in Education. She has been involved as a community volunteer since moving to McIntosh County in 2006 and has served in various leadership roles within many local organizations including the local Chamber of Commerce, YMCA, Keep McIntosh Beautiful, and the McIntosh Art Association. Commissioner McClellan is married to Mark McClellan who works for the Georgia Forestry Commission and has three children: Dalton, Molly Jane and Jack. Her family attends Darien United Methodist Church. Commissioner McClellan is committed and dedicated to serving the citizens of McIntosh County.
